About Us: Bios Nick & Katherine Eastvold have been teaching in the South Valley since arriving in December of 2005. They first met while teaching at the Diamond Ballroom in Southern California. When Katherine opened her own studio, Studio K Dance, Nick followed. Their partnership created a close friendship that soon walked them down the aisle. When Nick's engineering career moved him to the Bay Area, they settled down in Morgan Hill. Now Nick and Katherine are teaching group classes, private lessons, and special events in Morgan Hill and Gilroy. |

Katherine Eastvold Katherine has over 12 years of ballroom dance experience, and has been teaching for the last 10 years. The owner and creator of Studio K Dance, a ballroom and swing studio in Southern California, Katherine's students enjoy her energetic teaching and knowledgeable background. Her success at the studio earned her front-page stories in every local newspaper. Katherine is also a champion West Coast Swing dancer who enjoy teaching & judging at statewide competitions. |

Nick Eastvold Nick started teaching dance at a young age, and it shows. Students love his simple and easy instruction that has them dancing out the door on their first lesson. A true ballroom dancer, Nick has studied both American and International styles. He enjoys incorporating both into his choreography for students. Nick also enjoys competing in Pro/Am competitions with his students. His track record speaks for itself: 95% of his student earn Gold or Gold with Honors at their first competition. In the daytime, he works as an Electrical Engineer in Morgan Hill. |
